Lake Malaren Golf Club is a well-rated golf venue, which offers 36 holes of championship golf on its Masters (formerly Lake ) and Forest courses. These predominantly tree-lined and open parkland layouts should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. The Masters course is the bigger dimension of the two and has hosted top level competitions including the European Tour's BMW Masters championship. This Nicklaus Design course incorporates plenty of dramatic bunkering as well as fairway-hugging sandy waste areas and water hazards. The open parkland has been crafted so as to create a links-style appearance, with longer fescues often found atop the gently rolling mounds that separate the good-width gently undulating fairways.
