Warsaw First Golf Course, Poland's first 18-hole championship course, opened in 1992. It is also Poland's only "links course," picturesquely situated in the heart of the Wawiice-Kilpinski National Park. Just a 25-minute drive from Warsaw's city center, located in the village of Rayszew near Modrin Airport, it is a true golfer's paradise. For many years, it has been consistently ranked as the best course in Poland by Polish players and is considered one of the most challenging courses in Europe.
The 18-hole championship course is widely regarded as one of the most challenging golf courses in Europe. Swedish architect Jan Sederholm designed it to blend seamlessly with the surrounding natural beauty. The first 11 holes have a typical park-like style, with wide fairways surrounded by lakes. The last 7 holes feature narrow fairways and dense forest. Therefore, skill alone is not enough to achieve a good score; choosing the right strategy is crucial. Due to the abundance of trees, water hazards, and bunkers on the course, the margin for error is extremely small, requiring careful consideration and meticulous calculation.
