Although the course has undulating terrain, there are not many uphill holes. Each hole has its own unique character. The course is relatively long with slight elevation changes. The holes are generally narrow, so steady play helps achieve good scores. As typical of tropical regions, flame trees and pine trees separate the holes. On the front nine, the 6th hole is quite challenging and feels longer than its actual distance. The 9th hole is a downhill hole with out-of-bounds on both sides, making the second shot crucial. On the back nine, the 10th hole is a long par 5 that requires a downhill approach to reach the green. On the 16th hole, if the tee shot is not long enough, the second shot will be blind. The 18th hole is a signature hole that demands rich strategy
