Shinyou Country Club

Shinyou Country Club is a golf course owned and operated by Accordia Golf. Located in Gifu Prefecture, it offers excellent access from Nagoya and Mie. Designed by Desmond Muirhead, the course spreads across hilly terrain and makes full use of diverse landscapes, creating a distinctive champion course. It has hosted tournaments such as the Japan Professional Golf Match Play Championship and the Chubu Open, and its layout attracts golfers who want to challenge it again and again. Each hole has a nickname, and the famous 7th hole, called “Apollo’s Pond,” features a floating island green shaped like a fish, adding enjoyment and strategic depth to the course.
