Wakakusa Country Club

Wakakusa Country Club, operated by Accordia Golf, is located in Nara City, Nara Prefecture. It is a 27-hole golf course filled with Japanese atmosphere, about one hour by car from Osaka. The club offers three courses: the Wakakusa Course, requiring accurate shots and solid strategy; the Ikoma Course, known for its garden-like beauty; and the Yoshino Course, with hazards and creeks that make it highly challenging. Designed by J. Miller, the course boasts large greens with steep undulations, often compared to complex “potato chips,” making them highly rewarding to conquer. Many greens are surrounded by ponds and bunkers, with OB zones behind, demanding precise distance and direction. Notably, the 3rd hole of the Ikoma Course features a three-tiered green with severe undulations, a true test of skill. Beyond the diverse courses, the club is proud of its luxurious clubhouse, designed with Japanese taste — elegant yet not ostentatious. A spacious lounge and beautiful open-air baths allow players to relax after their rounds. Separate reception and payment counters reflect thoughtful service.
