Opened in 1935 (Showa 10), it is the oldest golf course in the Tohoku region and the 19th oldest existing course in Japan. Designed by Shirō Akaboshi, a leading figure in the amateur golf world, this rare and precious course in Tohoku was built entirely by hand. Sometimes gentle, sometimes stern, it speaks to golfers with its unique character. With uphill and downhill shots full of variety, it inspires players to challenge nature itself. The club has preserved the tradition of “walking golf,” emphasizing the essence of the sport and the discoveries that come from walking the course. The clubhouse, built in 1952 (Showa 27), has welcomed countless golfers to this day. Here, both the course and the clubhouse breathe with the passion of pioneers. In winter, the course remains open as long as there is no snowfall.
