This is a hilly golf course. The outer course is relatively long, separated by trees and ridgelines, giving it a strong woodland character. It also features water crossings and dogleg holes, adding plenty of variety. In contrast, the inner course is shorter but includes valley crossings and significant downhill shots, with a series of interesting holes. The entire course lies on gentle slopes stretching from Mount Bandai to Lake Inawashiro, making it prone to wind.
