It is a highland course. Most holes are flat and simple, allowing players to expect good scores if their shots are accurate. On the front nine, starting from the long 7th hole, water hazards come into play, making the last three holes prone to score loss. The signature 8th hole has ponds closing in from both sides in front of the green. On the back nine, water hazards also appear from the 12th hole, requiring careful tee shots and second shots to avoid them. The long 17th hole, often used as a driving contest hole, features a creek crossing the landing area from left to right, forcing players to decide whether to lay up or carry depending on tee position and wind direction.
