Prefectural Golf Course

Located about 7 km northwest of Hanamaki City, at the foot of the mountains next to Hanamaki Onsen, this course is part of the Prefectural Hanamaki Wide-area Park.

It is a 9-hole hilly course overlooking the famous Mt. Hayachine, designed with relatively flat terrain so beginners can play with ease.

Yet, with protruding ponds, solid bunkers, and subtly undulating greens, it offers rich variety and challenges even for advanced players. The park also features a kids’ playground and tennis courts, making it enjoyable for families.

About 10 minutes by car from the Hanamaki Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway.
