A tournament course that represents Hokkaido, this is a classic forest-style layout. The gentle undulations of the natural terrain serve as major strategic elements, further accentuated by the trees that surround the course. It was the first course in Hokkaido designed by the renowned Seiichi Inoue. Each hole is long in distance, with clearly defined routes of attack, and once a player strays from the intended line, recovery becomes extremely difficult. Many of the greens are sloped to receive shots, and the strategy changes significantly depending on the pin placement. It is truly one of the representative courses of Hokkaido.
