Ranfurlie Golf Club

Originally meticulously designed in 2001 by acclaimed golf course architect Mike Clayton, Ranfurly Golf Course is currently ranked 62nd. Under the meticulous oversight of renowned design firm OCCM, the course continues to evolve.

The course perfectly embodies the essence of Sandbelt golf. Its wide fairways are reminiscent of the wide fairways first introduced by Alister Mackenzie at Royal Melbourne, while sections recall Kingston Heath. The bunkers, a hallmark of Sandbelt golf, extend both aesthetically and strategically to the edges of the greens. A fundamental principle of the course's design is the transformation of areas beyond the center of the fairway into favorable positions for approach shots.

The 299-yard 16th hole is considered by many to be one of the best short holes in the country. From the tee, the landing area narrows as the shot is hit further, placing the putting surface between deep bunkers.
