Waihi Golf Club

Established in 1906, Waihi Golf Club is nestled in lush greenery, overlooking the town of Waihi and surrounding farmland.

The Waihi course occupies a compact 95-acre site, measuring 5,685 meters from the back tees, with a par of 72. Due to limited space, the holes, with the exception of a few narrow ones, are arranged along a northeast-southwest axis.

Highlights include the par-4 3rd hole (rated 1); the 512-meter 7th hole (the longest hole on record); the par-3 15th hole (the short final hole); and the par-4 18th hole, which ends at a two-tiered green guarded by bunkers to the right and left of the front.
