The Dunes Matarangi Golf Club

Located on the beautiful Matarangi Beach on the Coromandel Peninsula, this 18-hole sand course offers a challenging layout, perfect for even the most advanced golfers! It's on many golfers' bucket lists.

This par-73 course measures 6,162 meters from the blue tees (130° slope), 5,772 meters from the standard men's tees (128° slope), and 5,341 meters from the women's tees (126° slope). For lower-handicap female golfers seeking a greater challenge, dedicated men's tees are also available.

The 349-meter, par-4 first hole is a signature hole, offering a straight tee shot. It's essential for anyone hoping to tee off in par. The views of Mercury Bay are breathtaking, regardless of the weather. Holes 3 through 8 have water features, as does the 17th hole, while all holes except the 12th and 16th have out-of-bounds areas.
