Stewart Alexander Golf Club

The Stuart Alexander Golf Course opened in 1971 at its current location, 106 Pokulubaden Road, just 6km south-west of Te Awamutu. The course is in an undulating, rural setting with beautiful views. The fairways are well defined, lined with trees and the greens are beautiful, attracting golfers of all abilities all year round.

The par 70 course has 7 greenside bunkers and one fairway bunker, with a bunker length of 5108m for the men and 4798m for the women. The fairways are in good shape with 2 to 3 dogleg fairways. There are fenced paddocks within and around the course, which are part of the course and are used by sheep to graze. In spring, it is always a delight to see the joy of the newborn lambs.
