Waahi Taakaro Golf Club

Located in the peaceful and picturesque Maitai Valley, just 10 minutes from the centre of Nelson, the course is a well-maintained, challenging and affordable course. The club was established in 1974 and is renowned for its hospitality to all golfers. The club has club rooms within the course, which were built with the involvement of club members. The club hosts tournaments including the 27-hole Maitai Masters, held in late March each year.
