This is a hilly course that maximizes the use of mountainous terrain. The front nine is relatively flat, with the par-4 2nd and 4th holes requiring a second shot over a water hazard, making them quite challenging. The back nine features slightly undulating fairways, demanding higher accuracy on the second shot. The par-3 15th hole, located on a downhill slope, is famous for its left dogleg design. Since the par-4 holes are relatively short, scoring well depends on conquering the longer par-5 holes and the tricky-to-judge par-3 holes. The bentgrass greens are highly praised by players, maintaining smooth ball-rolling speed even after a year. The greens are fairly flat but heavily guarded by bunkers on the sides, increasing the difficulty of hitting the green.
