Marangaroo Golf Course

The course is set in a natural bushland that is home to hundreds of kangaroos. Designed by Murray Dawson and opened by the City of Wanneroo in 1988, the course is located on Aylesford Drive, adjacent to the Marangaroo Conservation Reserve and nearby Lake Goollelal.

Dawson is a prolific golf course designer in Western Australia, having planned more than thirty courses. He designed the Marangaroo course to provide golfers with a relaxing yet fun challenge through natural bushland with multiple doglegs and blind tees. The course measures 5,616 metres (6,177 yards) from the back tees. One of the most exciting holes is the 11th, a 422 metre par 5 with a narrow double dogleg over a hill. The 5th and 15th holes feature fountains.
