Townsville Golf Club

Established in 1893, Townsville Golf Club is the oldest golf club in Queensland and the fourth oldest in Australia. The club is situated on the picturesque banks of the Ross River. The architecturally designed course is both fun and challenging.

The course is relatively flat, with wide, fully gridded fairways and wide undulating greens, many of which are lined with century-old rainforest trees and seasonally blooming colourful trees. Water for the course comes from an on-site sewage treatment plant. Townsville Golf Club has a long history and dedication to the traditions of golf, and its first-class facilities are designed to make this wonderful sport even more enjoyable now and in the future.
