Wentworth Golf Club

Wentworth Golf Club has been known as ‘The Friendly Club’ since its inception in 1965. It's located in Orange, about 3.5 hours from Sydney, making it the perfect long weekend or mid-week getaway.

The locals transformed a paddock into a stunning 18-hole golf course with green grass. Not only did they clear the trees and remove the stumps, but they also used buckets or stones from the fairways to create the championship course that exists today. The course features 22 bunkers, three dams, newly planted trees and a small grove of pine trees.
