Shelly Beach Golf Club

Located on the NSW Central Coast, Shirley Beach Golf Club is situated at the eastern end of Shirley Beach Road, in the gently rolling hills overlooking Shirley Beach, a leisurely 60-minute drive from Sydney.

The course measures just over 6,000 metres from the back tees and has a par of 71 (35 on the outward side and 36 on the inward side), with holes arranged on two back nines. The course starts and finishes as a par 5 and covers a fairly narrow area of less than 90 acres, making an 18-hole course here nothing short of a miracle.

Highlights include the uphill par-4 2nd (rated 1); the par-4 5th and 6th (along the edge of a cliff); the back-to-back par-3s at the turn of the 9th and 10th; the short par-4 16th (with a pond on the right side of the fairway and a bunker on the left); and the long 18th, which curves slightly to the right and is uphill from here to the home green.
