Musashi Country Club Toyooka Course

This golf course officially opened on July 12, 1959, in the 34th year of the Showa era. The course was meticulously designed by the renowned designer Seiichi Inoue. The terrain of the course is flat, but its artillery-style greens have subtle undulations, surrounded by sand traps for solid defense and towering pine forests. These elements make this course much more challenging than its serene and beautiful appearance suggests. In September 2006, a new clubhouse was completed. At the same time, in preparation for the Japan Open in 2009, various enhancements were made to the course, including extending the tee decks, renovating the bunkers, and planting trees
