Victory Park Golf & Country Club

Victory Park Golf & Country Club built in 1997 was the first 18-hole golf course in Nong Khai province and near the Thai border with Laos. The Issan golf course has a nice, albeit flat, layout, with well-maintained greens set in a natural environment. Designed by American golf course architect James R. Vaughn, the 6888 yard golf course plays to a par-72 and features a range of good holes from the short 172 yard par-3 13th to the longest hole on the golf course, the par-5 7th which plays to 599 yards from the back tees. The clubhouse is basic and has a nice restaurant, but not much else in the way of internationally friendly facilities.
