Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort Straits

Designed by Akira Mamiya and built adjacent to the Johor Bahru coastline. This exclusive 6,163 metre 18-hole course is the latest addition to the Tanjung Putiri range, indicating a more precise strategy for the game. Mangrove swamps dominate the backdrop to some of the fairways, greens and tees. On the 2nd hole, high tide carries the salt water of the marsh to the edge of the fairway. The 3rd tee overlooks a creek that meanders through the mangroves before flowing into the channel. This is a very challenging course for golfers who must contend with undulating terrain, rocky outcrops, mangroves and strong winds from the channel.

The resort's facilities include a 52-bay driving range, practice green, spacious classic clubhouse and four restaurants, of which the Chinese restaurant is the best.
