Albany Golf Club

Often cited as one of the best golf clubs in Australia and ranked in the top 100, the Club is situated on the south coast of Western Australia, surrounded by coastal dunes and offering spectacular ocean views of King George Sound. Built in 1898 and expanded in the 1960s, the course is home to Western Australia's oldest golf club, and in 2009 it was declared a Heritage Site.

The course layout is light and bunker-ridden and offers a pristine links golf experience, with occasional views of King George Sound through the trees and dense bush lining the fairways, but this dense coastal vegetation helps to isolate the holes as the routing along the coastline is fairly uneventful, resulting in many of the fairways running parallel to each other.
