Twin Waters Golf Club

The course layout is fairly flat and resort style, with water hazards and bunkers dotted around the wide fairways. The 18 holes are laid out on natural, undulating terrain, and although the course is still challenging for the best players, it is not too punishing, so most golfers can putt out on the last green with their first tee shot.

The course has one of the longest tee shots of any course and is a relatively difficult hole to start play on. 2 and 7 are short, picturesque and striking holes, which precede the iconic 8th hole. The greens here pay homage to the ‘road holes’ of St Andrews, complete with protective bunkers. On the back nine, the 12th is a good short par four with no less than ten bunkers for par. The par three 17th is the toughest short hole on the course, followed by a par five which, if played aggressively, could lead to a birdie.
