Narooma Golf Club

The course stretches to the top of the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with views of Montague Island to the east and Glass House Rock to the south.

The club is renowned for having some of the best greens in New South Wales and the course has one or two surprises in store for golfers, such as a couple of blind tee shots and a forced shot across the water on the 8th, 10th and 15th holes. holes 1 to 6 are situated on a cliff top above the Pacific Ocean. The course then heads inland for ten holes (with trees lining both sides of the fairways) before returning to the coast for the final two holes.

The signature hole (‘Hogan's Hole’) is a spectacular par 3 that requires a carry from the tee to the green, and was made nationally famous in the 1970s when actor and comedian Paul Hogan filmed a Winfield cigarette commercial on the site.
