Sanctuary Lakes Golf Club

The Club is located in Melbourne's bustling west, just 20 kilometres from the CBD. Many golfers rate the two par 3s on the front nine highly as both short holes are played on greens protected by water. The two par fours on the back nine stand out. The 13th is a difficult hole, fully deserving of a 2-stroke Stoke rating, while the 445-yard 18th - although there are no fairway bunkers - has its island green virtually surrounded by sand. Unsurprisingly, a five-iron here feels like a par.
