Takikawa City Citizen Golf Course

Originally built as a 9-hole course, the Riverside Golf Course underwent expansions in 1983 (Showa 58) and 1991 (Heisei 3), eventually developing into a 27-hole facility. The course features an open layout with fairways primarily positioned along the periphery. While the terrain is generally flat, the designers ingeniously created "plateau-style" greens and incorporated subtle undulations in the fairways. Strategically placed bunkers and water hazards significantly enhance the course's tactical challenges. Furthermore, the ever-changing wind direction and speed throughout the day make accurate wind calculation a crucial factor determining performance.
