Course Introduction

This course is the first 27-hole international golf course in Laos and is a Vietnamese-invested golf club. The course is located 16 kilometres from Vientiane in a duty free zone and 1 kilometre from the Mekong River which separates Thailand and Laos.

The course is essentially flat. Man-made mounds, water features and intricate clusters of sharp-edged bunkers are the main challenges. Most holes are bordered by mature trees, flowering plants and red grass water. Full triticale turf ensures excellent playing conditions throughout the year.

The Longman Course is 7,538 yards from the back tees and has a par of 72. The East Course plays through a series of lakes and forested areas. Water hazards protect the greens and club selection is important when hitting the ball. The West Course is more open but has more bunkers and undulating fairways. Facilities at Longman include chipping and putting greens and a grass driving range. The clubhouse is very modern with elegant locker rooms, an international restaurant and a fully stocked pro shop.
