Hilly course. The fairways are made with ryegrass, allowing golfers to enjoy the vibrant green fairways throughout the year. The first nine holes are lush with trees, and the layout features a mix of uphill and downhill shots. Notably, the tee box on the 5th hole is positioned at the highest point, offering a panoramic view of Lake Ashi, Owakudani Valley, and the Sengokuhara Plateau. The back nine is flatter compared to the front, but there are subtle elevation changes. Additionally, if the ball ends up in the trees that separate the holes, it can lead to trouble, making this a course that requires precise shots.
